Q: Is there a meter included?
A: No, a meter is not included.

Q: Can you re-use lancets?
A: No, you cannot re-use lancets. The system is designed to advance to a new sterile lancet with each sample.

Q: Is Alternate Site Testing included?
A: Yes, there is a separate setting for alternate site testing.  It is the open circle icon on your device.

Q: What is the gauge of of the micro-lancets?
A: 28 Gauge.

Q: How many micro-lancets are in each cartridge?
A: Twenty (20) sterile micro-lancets in each cartridge.

Q: Is the lancing device kit covered by medical insurance?
A: Yes, the device will have the same coverage as your average lancing device.

Q: Are the cartridges covered by medical insurance?
A: Yes, the cartridges will have the same coverage as your average 100 count box of lancets.

Q: Will this system fit into my meter case?
A: This system (Device and Cartridge) will fit in most meter's cases.

Q: How do I dispose of the cartridge?
A: Please dispose of used cartridges according to your local ordinances.

Q: Do I have to buy lancets to refill the cartridge?
A: No, each Cartridge self-contains twenty (20) sterile micro-lancets.

Q: What does the arrow mean on the counter window?
A: The arrow indicates that you have a new cartridge.

Q: Can I take out a partially used cartridge and use it later?
A: Yes!  You can remove a partially-used cartridge and re-insert at your convenience.

Q: Is this system available in different colors?   
A: No

Q: What if the device jams?
A: If the device jams, retrieve a paper clip or similar object. Place the paper clip into the hole located on the backside of the device away from the handle. While pushing the paper clip into the hole, slide the paper clip towards the Advance Handle, and attempt to pull the handle away from the device.
